Kidcam Camps, a high-caliber provider with 50+ years of experience and the trust of 5,000+ families each year. We will use Kidcam’s registration and operations model, layering on special training to accommodate our campers.
Camp Director
Darbi Philibert, a distinguished occupational therapist and dedicated advocate for children with special needs, brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Camp Director for Camp Benny. With almost three decades of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, Darbi has devoted her career to fostering inclusion and enhancing the developmental outcomes of children with autism and other developmental challenges using a family-centered, team approach. She has promoted and worked tirelessly for summer camps and experiences for children with special needs, including attending Krewe de Camp, an overnight camp for children of all exceptionalities.
Staff Training
Camp Benny staff receives special training from clinical professionals with experience in behavior management, sensory integration and regulation skills.
